Guzman is a really good boxer, who are you guys throwing so much hate at...a guy who couldnt make the huge lightweight who could no longer make the weight because of personal issues. Guzman is already on e of the top 140 lbs and he hasn even fought at the weight yet, hes fighting a nobody to get rid of the rust. But if some of you havnt seen Guzman fight your in for a surprise he is very slick and has some pop as well, I remember he outslicked and beat Huberto Soto a couple years back. Hopefully he gets in the mix up within the next year, him and Judah could mix it up.

he officially weighed 144lbs for his funeka fight at 135. And the aborted Nate Campbell fight, he was around 139/140 for a 135lb fight if I recall and was hospitalized purportedly due to dehydration in his weight loss program. Now, he will try the 140 lbs division? Good for him IF he can finally control his weight. But for his last two fights, he was nowhere near 140, how would he make 140 now?

EDWIN VALERO said in an interview that he thought GUZMAN was the better(superfeatherweight time) and not JM MARQUEZ like all people were saying in those days!
I had the same idea, don't forget that current WBC lightweight champ(SOTO) looked like an amateur vs GUZMAN,if GUZMAN can make the weight at 135 he can clear the division.
he doesn't get the respect that he COULD EARN to its fullest potential because guzman is very unprofessional. plain and simple, he could be the best ever but not being a professional he wont ever get a chance to be the best ever....... by his own doing.

if guzman starts taking his career a bit more serious and fight the fights people want to see instead of fighting once every two years, and he just might get the full respect he so called deserves....... try coming in on weight some time?

Guzman will be at least 142 during the weigh in.

This dude is a Mayweather Jr. clone. Boring as hell with too much showboating but doesn't really impress. Power is in the class "c" category. Mayweather Sr. use to say that Guzman can smoke Pac. If this dude fights someone like Pac, he'll be put to sleep. No doubt!

I can't help but believe that anyone here who likes Guzman has actually watched an entire fight of his. He is insanely boring for 90% of his fights.

And not making weight by that much and celebrating after a win like he did is a disgrace. I don't understand how fans support this guy.
