Comments Thread For: Kassim Ouma is Back, Stops Joey Gilbert in Six

At the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, former junior middleweight champion Kassim "The Dream" Ouma (27-7, 17KOs) picked up his biggest win in years when he stopped local favorite Joey Gilbert (20-3, 15KOs) in six rounds. Ouma had lost five of his last six ring appearances and many felt Gilbert, who recently fought at light heavyweight, would be way too big for him at middleweight.

It's always nice to see Kassim fight. I'd like to see him in a fight against a marquee name, I also thought he beat Vanes.

I was going to go to this fight until I found out it has mma bouts on the undercard, I hate it when they do that shit.

He didnt beat Vanes. Vanes won by point or two.

Anyway he got also dropped against Gilbert but its good win for Ouma.

                  Glad to see him back.

Would like to see him fight Vanes again, I was suprised the scores were so wide for Vanes, epecially with the knock down.
