your statistics only mean that they are not that many puerto rican fighters to take a knee vs a mexican, that is all..
this is why no one takes you seriously. you've been here forever and you still behave like a kid when people debate. even if there's a current active fighter destroying mexicans right and left, you'd still get your feelings hurt and come up with some ****** ass joke like you do with pac, pinoy, dogs etc.

seriously, grow the **** up. even if its the internet.

I think there are many social and economic factors that deal with the number of boxers. If you noticed in the early 20th century, there were many ***ish, Irish, and Italian fighters in the US, in one time 4 of the 8 champions were ***ish. But those groups developed economically and boxing was seen as a profession to avoid as they got better opportunities.

In Puerto Rico, Baseball and Basketball are probably more popular than Boxing now. In Mexico, Soccer is still as popular or more popular than Boxing. There is a larger discrepency between the rich and poor in Mexico. There is less of a middle class there compared to PR, so there will be many more people taking boxing as a way to try make a lucrative career for their families.

I expect with the popularity of Pacquiao and the economic situation in the phillippines, to expect more and more fighters CHOOSING boxing. Has nothing to do with superiority.

So this whole issue about superiority is silly at times, i mean P4P the Irish and ***s had great fighters, but they CHOOSE to not fight anymore, does that mean other nationalities are better fighters? Just look at guys like Barney Ross, Benny Leonard, Jimmy Mclarnin, Gene Tunney, Levinksy, Dempsey etc. The ***s and irish had great fighters, but nowadays many of them just don't see the need to fight.

I like that he thinks I am Mexican

My heart will always say Tito>Not only over every Mexican but every fighter period.

However, my brain knows the truth.

its not that hard bro. its really not that hard.
But, JMM and Montiel are better than any PRIcan fighter right now.

And, you need to understand that falls under quality.

            Let's hijack this b*tch.

i saw this a couple days ago and i tried to look away. its not fair.

I'll end this by saying, both pr and mexico have their merits as boxing countries. there's no doubt about that. minimizing one to pump up the other is ****** because both countries boxing history is so intertwined with each other.

bottom line is, there should be no debate that mexico has the better fighters becuase they have more fighters. but because they have more shouldn't make any less. they still have the better fighters right now. and that's that.

I tell you who has a good case of quality vs quantity against Mexico.

Argentina, Panama, and the Philippines. They have a better case to use this argument than Prican do.
