Toney has nothing to gain just like he had nothing to gain off Booker.........but i like fight just for the reason that i wanna see him fight again and i wanna add more fights to my Toney DVD Collection
Once he forces himself into mandatory positions, which won't take long considering he's been fairly active his whole career, they'll have no choice but to lose to him. His boxing skills are far superior to all the rest of the division, and he probably hits harder than Byrd.

I was kind of hoping Toney would have went back to his heavyweight beginnings and tried to fight McCline....That is the fight I actually want to see from Toney.

HE has never beat anyone of importance , and will never be mentioned among any of the all time greats like Toney will be one day .

Anyways Klitschko is the wbc champ at the moment we dont need to go back to the past, now is what really matters not the past....

All he did was come up with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't fight. He's a ****ing coward. The two biggest fights of his career were losses. Then he went on to defend the tile a grand total of ONE TIME. He's a paper champ, and the only reason he's still in boxing is because he's so tall.

When he finally man's up and fight some quality opposition, he's going to get exposed. Lewis battered his face, and had he been in shape, would have run away with the fight.

At least his brother grew a pair and is taking on a real threat. Why could Vitali take on someone who actually poses a threat, instead of being a coward and looking for the easy way out in Maskaev?

I'd agree that Toney probably should look for a better fight, but who's he gonna get? Peter is taken, as is Wlad, Rahman and Barrett are tied up, Brewster is getting a fight with someone else, Vitali is still "injured," Byrd... who the **** knows what's going on with him.. He's got no one to fight right now, and it's better he fight him than stay inactive for long periods of time. Add that all up with this: the fact that he's not a champion, nor is he considered to be the "best" heavyweight in this weak-ass division, and you get a guy who shouldn't catch half the flak that Vitali catches for being such a *****.
tell me are u ****** the Maskaev fight isnt happening it was all talks, how can Vitali fight anyone else when he has to fight his mandatory and hes allready made it clear that hes goign to fight the winer of Rahman Barret. They were trying to make a Toney Klitschko fight but Toney asked for more then hes worth and it fell through, even if the fight was made it wouldnt happen cause the wbc is making Vitali wait for the Rahman Barret winner. Next time before u come in here wit all this **** get ur facts straight and then try to argue cause right now ur just making urself look very ******...

Toney fought Ruiz in his last fight.

That's certianly better than Danny Williams.

The bottom line is this is a stay busy fight, because no one is available.
hmmmmmmmmm Vitali is fighting winner of Rahman Barret, Wlad is fighting Sam Peter I think this explains it all...

This is a keeping busy fight for toney he should win easy, guinn isn't strong enough mentally to compete at the higher heavyweight levels.
I'd rather see toney against someone else but i think its better for him to fight rather than not too, he needs to stay in shape and stay sharp thats all this fight is good for, if he loses he's gone

Dude, none of the big names are going to fight Toney unless he has a belt. He blew the big name fights with his positive steroid test. He'll have to beat Guinn then get a big name to fght him.
