A lesser fighter would have been knocked out by Mosley in the 2nd of their fight, but Floyd used his body to clinch and tire Mosley before he could be knocked out.
why because roach said it? lmao floyd foot speed hasnt gone anywhere he just been more stationary in his last 2 fights. he was fighting guys that didnt need him to move too much. marquez. and he was comming forward at mosley so he didnt need to be moving on his feet alot. just like when he fought judah he didnt use his feet but when he fought boldimier and oscar he moved alot more. i swear NSB and the majority of these so called boxing fans are like the brood. yall dont even have an opinion jsut share a collective thought .

Floyd may of lost some speed because of layoffs, age, or whatever, but realisticly he Is still the best BOXER out there by far. Obiously Pac is right there next to him, but he is more of a brawler.

The way I see it, Floyd is the Bhop of today, and Manny Is RJJ. Floyd might get older and slower but his technique and boxing IQ would allow him to fight into his 40s if he wanted to. Manny is an amazing athlete like RRJ was, (Both are fighters of the decade) He throws punches from all angles and relies on speed which is extremly effective, but as he gets older and slower he wont be able to do the things he doesn now, just like with RRJ.

So in my opinion Floyd is pulling a BHop and not fighting Pac untill his physical skill decrease. haha regardless, im a floyd fan and beleive he would beat manny.

hmmmmm----let me see----shane won less rounds than zab and oscar did against floyd-----jmm won how many rounds again when he fought floyd? abd landed a total of 12% of his total shots against a guy who took nearly 2 years off---and what's so funny about shane hitting floyd and rocking him a little bit, is that many of you people use it as the only form of light when arguing against floyd----as if floyd has never been hit before----floyd is out of his prime, i agree, but not because of his so called diminishing skills, coz they have surely not lost any steam, just evolved into something different, and still very effective, he is the most skilled fighter in history imo, and manny will be another useless victim of his, no worries---

his layoffs only make him stronger---yes, he may get hit here and there, but it's nothing he hasn't felt before----he has been hit and rocked before and not only shook it off easily, but dominated right afterwards-----right afterwards---don't forget---

I totally agree. He isn't as fast anymore. You can clearly see that his counter hooks aren't as fast as they used to be. I also think his legs aren't what they used to be eventhough he didn't make much use of them in the Mosley fight.

I still see him beating Pacquiao though.

                  LMAO

the guy loses ONE round in 24 rounds against the pound for pound #2 and #3 guys (ranked that way at the time Floyd fought them) and all of a sudden he's on the decline....

                  funny stuff bro!

People should start making a better distinction between skills and talent.

Floyd's talent might be regressing not his skills.

The fact that he got hit a few more times than normal should be chalked up to his opposition being clever HOFers and not because he's slipping. That's some **** a fanboy would say. Act like Mayweather has better opp. on his record than JMM and Mosley.
