I doubt it, if Cotto used the same authorative jab he did against Mosley I think it'll be a long night for DLH.

Now on the flip side, if this was a prime for prime DLH I'd agree because he wasn't as flat-footed in his earlier days.

Cotto's kryptonite is pressure fighters with a high punch volume DLH was niether against Floyd.

So carrales has no d but cotto does?

Castillo was in his prime when he supposedly won the first fight. But he was out of his prime the next fight he lost?

Smfh @ EM and MAB being in their prime.

Whaaat? Listen, I know Floyd has had his issues but to deny his career prior to 2009 is ridiculous. Diego Corrales, Genaro Hernandezz, Jose Luis Castillo, Zab Judah....... then has fought tremendous opposition, Emmanuel Augustus, Angel Manfredy( the pre Jesus one that was a beast), Arturo Gatti. Then yall question his wins over DeLaHoya and Mosley? Everyone was saying Mosley had the best chance and then yall say hes old. Same with Oscar. He has had a tremendous career. Should he have fought the Cotto and Margarito's of the world? Sure. But he has fought some of the best guys out there. Yall worse on this guy more than Roy Jones who fought quality opposition and dominated in the same fashion and yall give no credit to whatsoever. I find it funny yall tear a guy down on his ring accomplishments once he dominates a guy yall want him to lose to(Hatton, Oscar, Mosley). Should the fight with Pacquiao get made, he will dominate. I assure you that. I do not condone his outside the ring behavior, as none of you should, but in the ring, the guy is amazing. Give him his due credit.

          skill for skill?

cotto had unreal power at 140-147, hernandez wasnt a huge puncher

a prime cotto was very skilled, hernandez wasnt more skilled lol they had completely different styles too

skills dont even solely determine how good a fighter is, calderon was lightyears ahead of segura in terms of skills but did he win that fight?

So you say, in any event if that version of Cotto showed up against the version Floyd fought in Oscar I give the nod to Cotto.

Corrales was distracted and weight drained and Castillo split 2 fights with Mayweather if ****ty judging is taken out of the equation. Cotto in 2007 after the Mosley fight would easily have been Mayweathers toughest test yet in his career i wouldnt say he would have been the p4p best Mayweather would have fought up to that point but personally for Floyd that would have been his toughest fight. Thats why when Merchant brought up Cotto's name Mayweather said he wants to retire from boxing and doesnt want boxing to retire him and then proceeded to retire only to return to fight the much smaller JMM after Cotto lost.

                      Diego Corrales
                      Jose Luis Castillo
                      Zab Judah

But seriously man don't let your personal hate for Floyd cloud your judgment. Floyd has had a great career, give the man his props.
