Comments Thread For: Daiki Kameda Decisions Takefumi Sakata Over Twelve

At the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan, WBA flyweight champion Daiki Kameda (18-2, 11KOs) won a dominating twelve round unanimous decision over mandatory challenger and former champion Takefumi Sakata (36-6-2, 17KOs). It was the first defense of the title that Kameda won in February. The scores were 118-110, 116-112 and 117-112. Kameda started strong, cut Sakata over his right eye in the third and continued to outbox the challenger as the fight played out until the bell.

    Sakata isn't that good.

How he beat Lorenzo Parra I will never know.

Kaovichit kicked his ass in 2.

I guess an ok victory for Kameda.

Luis Concepcion would **** him up inside the distance though.

I thought the fight was a lot closer then the scores indicated...sakata is not bad but he def has a shaky chin cuz kameda hurt him a few times in this fight...most of the kameda bros wins are close decisions..I wish they would dominate at least 1 top 5 guy, but theyre still real young
