the gate should easily be the top gate revenue of the year, and the highest ppv sales for manny. margarito is a very popular fighter as well.

this fight should sell 1.5 to 2 million buys
    lol you can't be serious.

Yeah, I also think this fight will surprise a lot of people with how well it sells. Margs being back in his first "major fight", so close to Mexico, Cowboys stadium, chance to see Pac busted up by a bigger guy, chance to see Pac beat a much bigger and prime guy. This fight will do very well

I'm guessing over a mill, maybe 1.2-1.4 mill...I don't know about 2 million but I think it will do far better than the Clottey fight, Margs is a bigger name, and especially the Mexican contingent will be a huge factor since the fight is in Texas. I'd be shocked if it did less than a million..I mean, the Clottey fight was around 750K or 800K buys and Clottey is a relative unknown outside of the boxing community.

bought tickets for last clottey fight in section 223.
When we got there, they closed off that whole section since it was blocked by the TV tower and the temporary stands for the floor seats.
So we got moved over to 238, so we got the view for the big wide screen.
Although we had to look up a lil bit at the screen.

Havent bought tickets for this next fight yet.

I was really thinking about getting tickets for the Martinez/Williams fight...I have never been to a live boxing event because I am too broke to fly to the west coast to catch a big fight. I could get a couple friends and drive up to AC and catch this one and I have a friend who can get a cheap room at the Tropicana, I'd love to go to the Pac fight but I'm not financially straight enough right now to do that.

I feel you on that. Try the garden though. Decent fights here once in a while.
