Now it seems it's not the semis already, but the 3rd round with a new opponent for Allan Green. That's weird considering everybody was reporting about the semifinals in recent weeks.
Anyways, the fun thing is, if that new guy knocks Green out and therefore gets his 3 points, he is pretty much guaranteed a place in the semis as he will overtake at least Green and then Froch and/or Dirrell if they do not win.
So unless Froch AND Dirrell win their bouts, a knockout win against Green is the ticket to the semis. I am curious to see who will take this chance.
Bute already has Brinkley scheduled and will wait for the winner, which is less risky for him and there's no other real contender who could challenge for the overall win unless someone comes up or down in weight.
