Can Margarito's Uppercuts be Manny's downfall?

One thing I notice about Manny's fights is gets hit often with uppercuts, I noticed this especially when he fought Cotto. If Marg continue to pressure Manny and throws uppercuts often, then Manny can have a long night. I won't be surprised if Manny gets stunned, knocked down, or even knocked out by Tony's uppercuts. Reason being is that Marg is taller than Manny and if Manny focuses on Marg's head, there's a good chance he'll get hit by uppercuts because Manny will be looking up at Marg and he won't be seeing the uppercuts coming from below. We all know that the punches you don't see coming are the ones that hurt the most. This is why I think it's wise if Manny focuses on Marg's body instead, so he has a better view of where Marg's punches will be coming from.

Not if they fan Pacquaio time after time. Ole all night.
The jab is the punch he should be looking for.

only if he languishes in punching range with his guard up like he did vs clottey...which i dont think he will do.
i think he'll be in perpetual motion so, even though margarito's uppercuts are a threat, i dont see him catching manny with one.

I actually met and asked Teddy Atlas bout 2 months ago and I asked him about this fight, he took a good 5 mins breaking this fight down I was suprised. He told me this could be a bad matchup for Packy cuz he's prone to uppercuts, and he went on for a couple more mins.

roach will prepare pacquiao to be on the move the whole fight. buboy was dang near crying in the corner when pacquiao stood his ground with cotto, i refuse to believe he is going to stand still and let margarito get off this fight.

every body shot that pacquiao takes has the potential to drop his mobility. this will be very important should the fight last past 6 or so rounds.

If I remember correctly, Manny had his guard up when Cotto hit him with those uppercuts snapping Manny's head back. Just imagine if he gets caught while in a middle of a 3-5 punch combo. Marg has a pretty good chin, and being an agressive punch and with reach, I can see Manny getting caught/countered with an uppercut. The more I analyze the fight the more excited I get.

If the uppercoats are peppered with plaster, Manny loses.

Manny has never been able to dodge anyone's uppercuts. So yeah could be.

Margarito need to use a double jab first. Hes tall and long. Needs to use that jab to keep Pac thinking. If he sets his punches up behind his jab, he can definitely create problems for sure.

Quit trying to give this fight any hype that it could be a contest....and so what, southpaws have given margarito trouble, not 1 but all southpaws give him fits.
