This would be a bad, bad move for Alvarez! Sure if he wins he gets a huge bump up in stardom but then he would have extremely high expectations from the fans, and frankly I doubt he is ready for a young, in his prime elite fighter yet. I see him ending up like Vargas if he fights and beats Sugar Shane.

Alavarez isn't ready for that type of step-up yet.

He just dominated a fighter who came out of retirement for the fight.
