Why can't Frank just at least let Hatton have his promoter's license remain? It's like a back up plan for Hatton, at least a job to have income.

He does make a good point however about the BBBC ignoring Hatton's drinking for years, perhaps if they'd threatened to revoke his license sooner he'd have addressed his addiction problems years ago. He's also right that having the meeting while Hatton was in rehab and couldn't attend is nonsensical.

boxing promoters doesn't have to be clean to promote fights. Unlike boxers and managers, promoters job is to smoke coke, drink starting at breakfast, talk to the press about a mega fight and make money. isn't this what Arum is doing?

Promoter Frank Warren is furious with the British Boxing Board of Control for allowing Ricky Hatton to keep his promoter’s license. Warren made a recent radio appearance on Talk Sport and gave his opinion on Hatton's Thursday hearing with the BBBoC. The BBBoC scheduled a hearing to punish Hatton for the widespread video which showed the Manchester star snorting several lines of *******. The BBBoC stripped Hatton of his boxing license, and his manager's license, but allowed him to keep his license as a promoter. They also fined him £20,000.
