Why did Golota hit Bowe below the belt?

You actually think golota knows why??? I think he did actually give an interview a couple years back about the two fights with Bowe.

If I remember correctly he said that early on he brushed up against Bowe's bulge a couple of times and was impressed...he said that as the fight went on he became obsessed with the bulge and just wanted to give it a good little spanking.

Well, I don't find it too strange to assume that Golota himself would know why he deliberately fouled his way to two DQ losses, in two fights that he was clearly winning.

Ill Give My Opinion. I Think Galotta Wasnt Use To Hitting A Guy So Much And Still Have Him In Front Of Him. He Was A Street Fighter So He Did What It Would Take To Get Someone Out,including Hitting People In The Balls. Other Than That...isnt He Polish?

He became frustrated because he hit Bowe with everything he had and Bowe continued to hang (albeit barely) in there. Just look at the exchange that took place in the first fight after Bowe went down and got up. Golota went in for the kill and Bowe hung in there and Golota got tired, frustrated and I believe headbutted him.
