Makes sense to me. Golden Boy is home to most the over protected and over hyped fighters in the sport.

Because Arum, Roach and Beltran do all of the talking for him and keep him sheltered away from the rest of the world. Seriously doubt any of them are going to openly admit that he's a free agent.
That's if any of this is true, considering the source. It's Oscar, after all.
On a somewhat unrelated note - wonder who would come out looking better/smarter/less wooden in a debate between DLH and Sarah Palin?Comment

Chaves Jr. can leave Top Rank and go toGolden Boy all he wants. But it's a good thing he didn't take on Cotto. Cotto was gonna blast his balls off to his famous father's lap. No, I got nothing against the Chavezes'. Just talkin' fact. That's all. No es nada personal.Comment

If he wants to go to GBP then by all means do what you consider is best for your career. However, this sounds like he's avoiding Cotto. I may be wrong, it could strictly be a business decision, but Arum is pushing for a Cotto fight, JCC might not want that yet...but I'm just sayin.Comment

He's extending the shelf life of his career. Cotto would destroy him. I think its a good move. Arum is a cheap Fck who dont put anything to make his cards exciting, on the other hand GBP makes everything seem like a main event, fighters in Top Rank should get with the times and leave just like Jr will. Especially Pac, he could make much more money else where...Comment
