Was Margaritos Gloves really loaded against Cotto?

Was Margaritos Gloves really loaded against Cotto? This is my question.. This still hasnt been proven and one things for sure is that people jump on accusations like flies on turds ex: Floyds accusations of Pac on PED's.

Im not saying that Margarito did or didnt no one really knows expect him and his trainer but looking back at Cotto in that fight. He was pretty busted up just like Pac busted him up so really was Margs gloves loaded, cause Pac busted him up the same way?

Lets not forget the game plan Cotto had in that fight, lack of body shots which is his signature punch.. Cotto went for Margaritos head more..

So really, was Cotto just suspect to pressure fighters?

Cotto did fight the wrong fight...lack of clinching and body shots..the loaded glove part..I'll keep that to myself..

I'll just say this..just cuz you come with the wrong gameplan it doesn't necessarily mean you get beat to a pulp..

Cotto ate a lot of flush left uppercuts. its a bad weakness of his, with his blocking style.

honestly, I would imagine that Cotto would have been much more beat up if Margarito actually had concrete gloves on. really he just looked like you would expect someone to look who kept eating overhand rights and left uppercuts all night. heres a fun fact: Cotto was outlanded in power punches in every round except two.

also I doubt Margarito would have just walked around with the wraps still on if they were concrete. And surely he would have taken them off before shaking hands with Cotto...

Yes, the proof is that Margarito has not shown that kind of power in any fight after.
I don't doubt He also plastered when He fought Cintron before Cotto.
You can't fake punching power and Cotto's face was taken appart by loaded gloves. No doubt in my mind.

are you suggesting hes done it his entire career? hes always had power throughout his career, as shown in his earlier fights with Cintron 1, Lujan, and Sergio Martinez.

everyone still wondering about this question should rewatch cotto-margarito right now, preferably in good quality

panda did two weeks ago u can see the impact margarito's punches had on cotto, it was unreal. cotto outboxed tony for a good 2 minutes of the first round and margarito lands a wide shot down the middle to cotto's body and cotto folds up a little and then decides to pick his shots and move more from that moment on

its plain to see. so did tony load his gloves for the cotto fight? who knows, but its hard to argue he didnt

Margarito was caught once. And not by any "Commission", but by Richardson.

Has any "Commission" done any investigations into Margarito's past fights? The answer is no.

They are more into protecting themselves, and the BETS run by Casinos, on which the states collect taxes, than the fighters, who are usually from the lower classes, and, to them, disposable.

I'm sure He started clean like most boxers. I also think He did what He thought HE needed to do to get himself in position to make big money even if it risked other boxer's life. Same story with Resto. He didn't use plasters in all his fights. Just the important ones and most special the one where He was not been watched. Ambition and opportunity played its role IMO.
