Former five-time world champion Shane Mosley is pretty confident that last Saturday's performance against Sergio Mora had nothing to do with age. Mosley turned 39-years-old on September 7. He fought Mora to a controversial twelve round draw in a very ugly fight at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Mosley blames the performance on a clash of styles and Mora's reluctance to make it a fight.

i love mosley as a fighter, and i still dont get why he wanted to fight mora, a guy who would just run and not engage and put on a ****ty ass fight.

the mora fight did nothing positive for shane.


he should have waited for cotto which would be a good fight

Bad nes Shane! Cotto, Margarito, and Pacquiao are all Top Rank fighters. Maybe it'stime to move away from GBP organization. They have a bunch of gay fighters that bring boring fights like the one you al complaining about.

Mosley is so full of crap!!!! he knew and everyone in boxing knows what Mora's boxing style is....if shane wanted an opponent who would mix it up with him....why didn;t he go after Paul williams...and all action fighter he doesn't run.......if mosley thinks he's still a viable contender then he should have tried to geta matchup with PWILL, try to get a win and we would take him seriously, but no he chooses a boxing reality star to try to make a point and couldn't decisively beat him and ended up with a draw....

notice how PWILL name isn't even amongst the list of guys he wants to fight....margarito he destroyed already so why beg for e rematch, cotto beat him already and pacman would absolutely overwhelm him in the ring.......

Shane is becoming the new Evander Holyfield thinking he's got alot left....

heck i'd have more respect for him if he attempted to get a fight with Clottey, cintron, angulo and even berto.......

its a shame where Shane is at this point!!!

shane sucks now, he was lucky to get a draw against mora who also sucks. that was easily the worst fight of the year and it was the main event in a gbp ppv! what a joke everyone involved with that is, shane is bout to be 40 and without roids is nothing, gtfoh shane

Ok I live on eating *******s about his choice of fights and catch weights! I get on Floyd nut huggers for him DUCKING THE PACMAN! I'm a Shane fan and so here is the truth, the other day I read an article were P-Will said nobody ever calls his name all this guys call out people after they fight and nobody calls out Paul! "For the record I'm a Paul fan also" Shane why didn't you call out PAUL, you already smashed Margarito nobody wants to see that, Cotto I can understand first fight was close, Pacman of course but if you really wanted an action fight you would have never fought Mora, you would have taken the fight with Paul so I'm a big fan but a little disappointed at you on this one!!!!

It's silly to start calling the top after a poor performance. It makes him look desperate for money, more than deserving of a big fight.
