If a boxer has a high level of testosterone naturaly...

Lets say an indiviual one in a million was born with an insane amount of testoosterone and decided to become a boxer and ends up becoming pro...

Would he as a pro fighter fail a mandatory drug test since they say if you have high level of testosterone you would test positive???

Also would he become exempt from boxing since if that is the case then he cant really cycle due to the natural nature of his genetics????

    OR

Because its natural testosterone that his body or the nervous system/mind produces, would it make it go undetectable?????

No to the second question, it would show up in the test.

well they did tests on james toney and other boxers and it showed ironicly that boxers after taking many hits to the head, have extremly low levels of testosterone. So it wouldnt matter. Other than that no of course he wouldnt be exempt.. and no it wouldnt be undetectable.

He wont fail a test in that case. Steroids are man made and differ from natural testosterone.

Second of all it not just testosterone that they test for, there are certain secondary factors that can conclude if you took roids.

Most of all natural testosterone wont reach the limits of roids

My guess would be probably he wouldn't be able to get licensed.

Whayou say makes sense due to the fact that they are different type of riods like winstrol or anadrol or etc...

But at the same time I can understand that how it is possible for the testing to get a positive hit for high level of testostrone...

i ask because I heard that some athletes try to use hypnotherapy to induce more testosrone and growth hormone and the thought got me thinking can these guys piss positive for it despite using a natural method

But wouldent they have to prove that its an outside agent such as winstrol or androl and not a high level of testostrone for them to be able to ban a boxer???

Positive for what? they didnt take anything. The test arent simply measuring levels of testosterone.

Its not just levels of test that they just measure. Anyway there is a cutoff limit in which the human body can natually produce.

They conduct tests to determine a baseline, and then test periodically for sp1kes, or sudden increases in levels.

It's the same method used in lie detector tests, as some people are naturally "calmer" or more "nervous" than others.

Of course, lie detectors are not 100% accurate. Neither are drug tests, DNA tests, or the laws of classical physics.
