I question how good Margarito's footspeed is. In my opinion, that's how Pacquiao beats everybody is doing that in and out turning BS. That's why Floyd will always beat Pac. I also am curious as to what kind of impact Margarito's LONG jab will have. I think Manny will tear him up pretty bad in the end but Margarito is a live dog.
If he decides to use it and sticks with it, I think it will make a huge impact and make for a different fight than we're expecting. We'll see what Garcia's gameplan is soon I hope.

And about Manny's footwork/speed - Will the recent article and comments about a "foot pain" be a factor come fight night if not 100%. If he can't move as good as he normally does, does Tony get the advantage?

I'm no bookie but I think come closer to fight night, odds are 3-1.

And note that Margarito's 1675 punches vs Clottey is the all time Compubox record for punches thrown in a 12 round fight.

If Tony is able to walk through Manny's best shots, will he walk him down and overwhelm him with size and pressure? I don't think Manny has ever fought anyone with a higher output than himself.

If Margartio walks through PAc's punches, he should assume a new indentity because he won't look like the Antonio Margarito who entered the ring to fight Pac lol...

I'm starting to have second thoughts, Manny appears to be on point in the clips I've seen and his punches sound like they have tremendous snap. Wish there were more clips of Tony's training.

margarito is supposed to be able to walk thru pac's shots.

it's up to pac to see if he can throw combos and turn margarito for 12 rounds nonstop

if tony will just walk thru manny's punches, then maybe tony is armored with plaster..j/k..

seriously, manny will soften tony with body shots on the early rounds and go for the kill on the second half of the fight. tony should use his reach advantage with double jabs to keep manny away from landing his punches but 'am not really sure if tony could cope up with manny's footspeed to land his best shots. anything can happen on this fight but looking on their individual resume, manny got better stocks, but tony is a lot bigger, that can be an advantage if he knows how to use it.

technically, whoever got an effective fight strategy should win. but still, good conditioning is a huge advantage.

both fighters promised an exciting fight...let's just enjoy it..

I don't think so, Oscar didn't have much left when he fought Pac. He didn't even impress vs Stevie Forbes. And he was completely drained in the fight with Pac. I was there live, he had nothing in that fight. Tony is coming with so much determination and motivation and he's gonna be fighting 3-4 pounds above what he's accustomed to, against a much smaller man. Big advantage for Tony. Pac may have bitten off more than he can chew with this one. It'll be a very exciting fight early, but the late rounds will become extremely rough for Manny with Tony doing some real damage and finishing the fight inside the distance.
