I predicted a 5th round KO by Moorer. I was off by 4 rounds.

I had been very worried about Sound's private information that Moorer was coming in shape for this fight.

I had carefully watched the weigh-in and stated that Moorer had put himself in a good shape, much better shape than in his pevious figght.

I was seriously worried that Vasiliy will go for a shoot-out with Moorer, trying to KO him, which did happen and ended badly for Vasiliy in round 9.

Vasiliy got KOed silly as Rick stated. He should not have done the shoot-out thing with a puncher. Vasiliy moved very well until that round 9. He should have kept moving and boxing instead of trying to KO Moorer.

It was not a good strategy to try to KO Moorer at any cost. The strategy clearly failed.

It was a bad plan and bad tactics. Moorer palyed a smarter game.

I like the odds on that one, but I feel there may just be some kind of strange finish to this one, maybe a DQ or another fight stopped by cuts....

props to Traveler. I was sure Moorer would lose. His chin would scare me against the bigger heavyweights still. I wouldn't pick him against any of the champs,....but I also thought he had zero chance against Jirov

I agree...jirov was dominating that fight and was ahead by a wide margin til he got caught

Yeah I thoughtJirov would win. Props to Moorer and his buddy Sound. But I think the DQ or Cut thing is nutz. VK takes DW out like The Johnson fight

Thank you for the props guys, I did know that Moorer was in deceptively good shape, while some may say that his weight makes him "out of shape" it does not mean that he won't have stamina.
In the Heavyweight Division, if you have STAMINA & POWER like Moorer, you have a shot against anyone in the division right now.

Every NFL lineman would be classified as out of shape if you judged them by weight, but you see them go head to head for 2 hours during the game - because they have STAMINA.

I told everyone he was back with Brian Young as his conditioning coach again, and Brian put him in with some "tuff-e-nuff dogs", who really worked him over for weeks up in Memphis.

Moorer has no trouble going 12 rounds now, and he is a fighter who really hasn't been through many "wars" so his body and his brain are still relatively unharmed - unlike a Holyfield.

I really look for him to take on --- and defeat Ruiz....
