Cotto at 140lbs going toe-to-toe with Maidana...who wins?

It's a fair assumption that Cotto would box Maidana's head off, but if they stood in front of each other and traded bombs that would be something to watch...so who would be the last man standing?

Cotto. He would rip Maidana to the head and body over and over at will.

      Interesting matchup.

Maidana seems to have legit power, but he's been tested kind of softly thus far, IMO.

Cotto was chinny at 140, also.

I'd pick Miguel to win by late TKO, in a fight filled with knockdowns, and a lot of ebb and flow.

At the end of his 140 career, Cotto was weight-drained, so Maidana could have knocked him out. Prime 140, whould have boxed Maidana's ears off

Cotto, Torres hits harder than Maidana.

But does Corley hit harder than Maidana?

            He wobbled Miguel fierce.

Cotto is actually very skilled and can box well. He would be able to box around Maidana and give him angles all day. Maidana may punch but Miguel does everything else in the ring better.

Going toe to toe I still think Cotto would take him. He's got more fire power. Maidana might hit harder, but Cotto's left hook is too fast, and he'd land it at will.
