I have a sneaking su****ion that this might become Khan's calling-card fight, like Gatti was for Mayweather. Not saying Khan's at that level (and I doubt whether he'll ever get quite there), but the fights seem a bit similar to me. Whatever the outcome (and I can still see Maidana KTFOing Khan if he's not careful), this fight should be taken as a moratorium for the Khan haters/knockers. This is a test, so if the guy comes through it, you should at least have the dignity to admit it. If not, then the floor's yours

Cotto is well known throughout the boxing world to be a step on for elite fighters to beat. His name carries just enough clout to be put in with the best, but he always gets beat on like a speed bag. These are facts.

dude, your god and protein provider put a clause in his contract with GBP that he wont be facing maidana (his mandatory) for 3 fights and thats up now, hes not taking on maidana because he wants, hes taking the fight coz he has no other option...

And Khan, who not long ago was ridiculed as the laughing stock of boxing was thought of as a nobody.
