Wladimir Klitschko is trying to get a fight with Mormeck for Dec. 11

• Wladimir Klitschko's representatives offered former cruiserweight champ Jean Marc Mormeck (35-4, 22 KOs), who is 2-0 as a heavyweight, a shot at the title on Dec. 11. However, Klitschko adviser Shelly Finkel told ESPN.com that Mormeck's asking price was much more than they planned to spend on an opponent, so the fight won't happen. But Finkel added that Mormeck, whose heavyweight victories have come against Vinny Maddalone and Fres Oquendo in his last two bouts, said he might be able to deliver a lucrative site in Paris and that the fight could happen in the spring. "If Mormeck brings a site, Wladimir would be very interested in defending the title in France," Finkel said. Klitschko (55-3, 49 KOs) knocked out Samuel Peter in their rematch on Sept. 11 for his ninth defense.

Me too, but they can't get Valuev, Haye, or Povetkin. Arreola is injured. Both Dimitrenko and Adamek want to wait to fight Wlad until 2011. Solis wants to wait until he's a mandatory, to receive a larger purse. Wlad's already beaten some of the others.

So it seems there's just Tua and Mormeck, plus some worse choices like Wlad's close friend Jonathan Banks, and others like Chauncey Welliver.

Derek Rossy and Denis Boytsov are a decent win away from being qualified. Personally, I would prefer Rossy instead of Mormeck right now.

Bad decision, fight Tua...Fighting Mormeck is a joke fight, Tua has a punchers chance and Mormeck has 0 percent chance.
