lets be realistic .. im not a Khan hater , hes my fellow countryman but Maidana is a ****ing G with a tysonesque Aura about him , hes coming for blood and khan is getting chin checked in vegas , khan outboxed malignaggi moved around and had black eye by the end of a fight by granny hands paulie , imagine what maidana will do to khan ? im sorry but i just dont see khan running for 12 rounds without getting chin checked ... I think Maidana is far superior to Paulie and so I agree he can defeat Khan by knockout.

He looked like ****e against Corley but looked very good against Cayo and Ortiz. I expect that Maidana to come up against Kahn.

Maidana doesn't have an amazing chin himself (or maybe Ortiz is just a very strong puncher) and lacks a great defence but he is obviously very dangerous when hurt as Ortiz found out.

Maidana did look like total crap against Corley, but I'm choosing to buy into the theory that he was unfocused and overconfident. A repeat of that effort would get schooled by Khan.

And Ortiz is a very dangerous puncher with his combination of speed and power.

Whilst I agree that a ko is a distinct possibility, making reference to a black eye received from paulie as evidence of what may happen against maidana is some of the worst logic ive seen. Khan actually didn't box on the move, he spent more time coming forward and cutting off the ring then he did boxing off the back foot. The strategy was to control the middle of the ring and break paulie up off the jab in that fight. Ricky hatton had a black eye after one round against paulie, and cotto had facial damage, thats what a quick accurate boxer can do, it has very little to do with power.
