Top Rank can't seem to promote **** compared to Golden Boy.

Still, I recon this will do around 800,000 which isn't bad for a politician from the Philippines and a Mexican plaster cheat.

Sure, I'm sure there's more than 1 million Pilipinos worldwide who will starve to buy their asian hero's fight. He gets all Pilipino support and what ever small percentage of Margarito fans who are Still on denial.

I agree, HE can do it!

I also agree with you guys in saying that they'll break the 1 million mark. But with better promoting, I think they could around 1.5 million. Myself and others may not like what they're fighting for, but it's very hard to say no to a possible WAR between these two.

While I don't want the fight to fail, it will feel wrong if this fight does really well, because damn it Margarito doesn't deserve this yet.

Top Rank didn't promote Pac-Clottey at all and it did 700,000. This should break a million buys for sure.

I'll disagree with you, they did the same nonsense they are doing now. Taking pictures in cowboys stadium, taking pictures in New York and yet mainstream still doesn't know about this bout.

They also didn't have a 24-7, or do any real trash talk, or go out of their way to hype the fight. They sold Pac fighting in Cowboys Stadium more than they sold the fight.

Pac-Margarito already has much more trash talk than Pac-Clottey, it will have a 24-7, and as the fight gets closer you will see much more advertising and hype than we have seen so far, the fight is still a month and a half away. Margarito also brings in A LOT more fans than Clottey could.
