First of all....Vic is in no way, shape, or form ducking Montiel. Dude has been calling Montiel out for the longest......even telling him he should avenge his brother, Alejandro Montiel's loss to him.

Now Montiel isn't ducking Vic either...rather he has had other plans and there are various reasons the fight hasn't materialized.

Also another lie is the fact that Vic is ducking Donaire. Shaw may not want the fight but Vic has always wanted avenge that loss.

Lastly, Vic is my second favorite fighter behind Pacquiao, and to be honest....he is gonna lose to Mares. Outside of Perez, Mares is the worst matchup Vic could be in from 112-122. Yohnny Perez is clearly the best BW and when Mares lost to him....it wasn't really a knock on Abner as he loss to the #1 guy. I feel Vic beats Montiel, Agbecko in a rematch, Hasegawa, and possible Moreno.....so I really wish he would have took those fights instead.

I think it was made clear Donaires team pulled out "to fight Montiel," but then again, they probably meant 2 years later.

wrong..donaire didnt enter the tournament to fight montiel....donaire wanted the rematch with vic..but vic ducked...nd now montiel is duckin donaire...cmon man..u know either doesnt stand a chance against donaire...donaire have been waiting for a dancing partner for the longest time..but to no avail..
