Cotto did duck Cintron, a lot of you guys on here are spending your time too much in the past lets take a look at Cottos last fight vs Foreman...he looked okay and was wobbled a couple times by some clean shots. Now, Foreman is extremley pillow fisted and is a decent boxer...how would a guy like Foreman ever compete with a guyl like Cotto 3 years ago? Simple, he wouldnt. Cotto is slipping and if I remember correctly he stated lst year after his defeat that he would be retiring most likely by the end of 2010, right? It doesnt look like he will do that, so next best option is to make as much money as he possibly can by fighting high reward/low risk opponents. Cintron and I will go on record by saying this, would beat and possibly K.O Cotto if they fought with Cotto as he currently is. Now, I would like to say hey, Cotto is working hard and is lining up an opponent to stay active but hes not...hes more than likely lining up a vacation which with all due respect he deserves. Cotto gets beat up even when he wins, now tell me does a fighter with 2 losses, a current world champion...who is only 29 years old sound like a fighter who would need to rest. Not unless he really, really needs it and I believe as Im sure all of you do that Cotto does need the rest. I dont believe Cotto has his heart in this as he once did, and frankly he doesnt need to...hes done plenty in the sport, made tons of money and can sit and pock his opponets all he wants now. Believe he will take that option...I mean after having Cottos run the last 5 years, wouldnt you?

Cintron beats Cotto in his current state and is not a name that brings money or credibility to the table...this is exactly why Cotto didnt take the fight. How is a guy like Cotto go from facing Judah to Mosley in a row and Clottey to Pacquiao in a row. Go to facing Foreman to possibly JCChavez Jr with other names mentioned in a row?

I know ts is just hating but lemme break it down. Cintron isn't a bum, he isn't great but by no means is he a bum. If Miguel feels like he isn't healthy or in the right frame of mind he shouldn't consider taking this fight, he's earned that right. Pretty much Cintron is a risky guy that brings nothing to the table so if you aren't fully healthy or all in for the matchup then you don't take the fight. That's not ducking, that is called being smart. Miguel has one of the best resumes in the sport and hasn't ducked anyone so cut your bull **** out. Cotto should heal up and then beat coke head chavezs offspring up real bad. We will all be motivated for that one!
