So obviously Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell are not going to fight this Saturday (although it was still on Showtime's schedule the last time I checked ).

So does anybody know when and where this important super middleweight fight is going to happen??

The Super Six has fallen apart.

The mistakes in the beginning were 1) including Jermain Taylor just because he's an American even though he had the KO loss to Froch, and 2) permitting Andre Ward to have all his fights in Oakland, while everyone else had to travel.

The biggest mistake of all was excluding Bute.

The two Andrea's are probably conspiring together as we speak to do everything they can to avoid fighting each other.

And if they do fight each other, you best believe they will have planned a way to stage a dull fight where nothing happens and both walk away unhurt.

Ken Hershman of Showtime has stated several times that Bute wasn't invited.

Oh right. Well I just seemed to remember articles from this site with Bute's team saying they weren't interested and stuff. I may not be remembering right though.

I understand Bute not getting invited, Taylor was coming off the fight against Froch where he represented himself very well before the KO. In retrospect it looks bad, but Taylor was more proven than Bute was or is, even if he wasn't a better fighter.

As far as Ward and Dirrell, they can f**k off until they get in the ring. Dirrell has sounded eager enough for the fight, but as I remember Ward was supposed to have three fights in Oakland and is probably fighting tooth and nail to make that happen, which is almost certainly the reason for the hold up.

Bute wasnt invited because its was a forgone conclusion that Ward was the cream of the division as he's showed and even heretofore he'd answered every boxing query that most pundits presented him with. It works out well because Bute can fight in front of large crowds and make alot of money while keeping his undefeated record and wait for the dust to settle.
