That is the ******est thing I've read in this thread yet.
If PR had the "whole economic backing" of the US, half of PR wouldn't be pushing for statehood.
Does Puerto Rico receive benefits from the US? Absolutely
Is PR in better shape than other parts of Latin America because of it? Yes
Is Puerto Rico as economically strong as any of the 50 states? Hell No
Why? Because PR doesn't have the same federal support to build up it's own infrastructure. The grants PR receives from the US are mostly for food assistance and welfare. It's unemployment rate is almost double that of the United States.Comment

Regardless you shouldn't be going on and on about how much you accomplish on your own when you have all the same oppertunities afforded to every other American citizen including access to all it's Amature Boxing programs. Every other latin American country in the west has an almost non existant Amature program yet they still compete with you "American Citizens". Seriously you ***s need to stop sucking your own ****s when the US is largely responsiable for your success. Take that unbrella away bye bye Amature boxing programs.
tell me what dog do you have in this fight? what are you? just curious.
and for the record we have a hard time sucking our own ****s since some ******* is always on our ****.Last edited by AntonTheMeh; 09-22-2010, 03:11 PM.Comment
