I just read this today as it was anounced on the PRBoxea.com page.

Cotto will wait for the winner Pacman vs Cheater and he will fight the winner!

Cotto always wanted a rematch with Pac, but he's always stated that he would never fight Margarito again because he doesn't want to give him the payday.

Doesn't make sense unless he's putting all his chips in for a Pac victory.

Smart business man. He also can use more time to heal from his shoulder injury. I hope He gets a rematch against Pacquiao at 154. Cotto can bring a much compatable fight now with Emmanuel, not been drained to the bone and with some more time to recover from the plaster and superman assaults.
I see Cotto braking more than the right ear drum.

cotto margarito 2 would be ok, but pac vs cotto 2 would be pointless.

Exactly. Cotto was the Champion and He was drained by the challenger and his own promoter.
They had no problems facing Clottey at 147, but they knew they were taking away from Cotto when they made come down or no fight.

Roach has been quoted and it's common knowledge that HE likes to take away from guys that have an actual chance to upset. So Hell YES, that's the main reason why He lost to Pacquiao beside all the other factors of being out of his game with no corner.

I wouldn't expect any less from his worshipers but this is what happens when you make a champion come down on weight to defend his title.
YOU DON'T GET FULL CREDIT! Simple.
