Oh yea i would love that as well. I usually follow the Ring belts as the real champs.

These belts are so ****ing meaningless and ridiculos. I mean how do you have 3 WBA featherweight champions?

Yea they get a sanctioning fee for every belt, so they make money by making a joke of this sport

I mean cmon, 3 different featherweight champs are too much, but 3 champs from 1 commision?

Yea and the WBA makes money off each belt. And the worst part is that the casual fans are fooled by this because they dont realize the WBA has 3 belts

you CANNOT CRITICIZE catchweights today because of the rule that allows fighters 24 hours to rehydrate.

THERE ARE NO MEDICAL STUDIES OR RESEARCH that says catch weights are a advantage or disadvantage.

24 hr rehydration rule makes all complaints moot.

do you even know why they started catchweight fights?

It wasnt because of medical malfeasance.

The bottomline is that fights are being made and both parties agree to it.

And besides, Margarito is career Welterweight and Williams and Martinez are both natural JMW, so I doubt any of the mentioned fighters will be at a disadvantage.

And 150 is an advantage for Margarito over Pac since he's a lot heavier naturally.

If Pac fought Margarito at 147, would people still be complaining?

Honestly nobody would be complaining in that case. Its weird how so many people say that a catchweight automatically drains someone
