But he competed at 154, which is even lower than that. And he said it himself that he can still make 154 right now. So what's the problem? Williams isn't a Middleweight and Martinez can make both, so why not meet down the middle at 157?

I know it's only a hypothetical, but honestly it's really weak for him to have all of these weight issues with his fights. Oscar, Cotto, Marg, then P Will too? F### that. Just fight a regular WW fight with Bradley or Berto that wouldn't have any asterisks to it. And if Willliams could safely make weight, he certainly take the fight.

Even if I did want your nuts..looks like I'd have to make 157lbs and fight a certain 6 foot 5 somebody to get to them..

And we were good..never had a problem..except you became exactly what a ******* is..yet you clown them on a daily basis for jocking just as much as you do..

I'm cool with unbiased, true hearted boxing fans..not stans who feel their favorite fighter is a perfect specimen of human there is..

Once you let go of his nuts you'll see what I mean..til then you'll always act like a sour b!tch being victimized and hated on..

The way Burner and a lot of black supremest on here think is that it's ok for black boxers to ask for catchweights but not ok for others.

One things for sure is Burner would flip the script and call Pacquiao a b!tch for asking for a catchweight..cuz it's only ok when the fighters he likes do it..lol..

But beyond his nuthuggery..how would NSB feel about this match up?..
Would that even out the height advantage That Williams obviously has over Pacquiao?..
              Would Williams accept?..
The fact that u dedicate a thread to another poster is extremely lame. Just thought i'd give my 2 cents.

Neither is Martinez..yet he went up to MW to grab that title..while Williams wants to act like he can shut down every division..I don't doubt he's a monster..but it's mainly his height..had he been 5'9 he'd be on Alfonso Gomez' level..

He talks so much **** about multiple weight classes and **** yet comes with this bull****?..an worse..the main people going at pacquiao's head try to justify it?!...it's pitiful!

Freddie Roach is on the record (video, can't find it but it was on youtube somewhere) where he stated Pacquiao would fight Williams if he could still make 147. Roach hasn't been the one asking for catchweights for Manny's last 2 fights, he doesn't see the need because Manny has proven not only that he can carry his power and speed to 147+, but he can take big punches from big welters like Cotto and Clottey. Koncz has been pushing for CWs, he even wanted one for the Clottey bout but he was vetoed by Arum.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Williams (if he can get past Martinez or at least fight to another close decision either way) ends up being Pac's next opponent at 147 next Spring since he's basically almost out of opponents that anyone would pay to see. And when Manny cracks his jaw, the usual suspects will cry about Paul being drained despite picking him to crush Pac beforehand.

manny will beat and destroy Paul Williams in 147 lbs. or anyone else in that division. so no need for catchweight. just fight in a welterweight.
