he aint getting a waiver. its federal law. theres no way around it. they tell u when they catch u the first time that if u try again you will be barred from entering for at least 5 years. thats a fact. if u live in mexicali then u should know that. this isnt his first time, hes not getting back in any time soon.

Yes indeed it depends how long they barred you from the country for. Let's say he gets barred 2-3 yrs even 5. That is what the waiver exists for. Not saying or guaranteeing he will get one for sure butif people get pardons from being deported from committing a serious crime, im pretty sure he can get a waiver. Your not understanding that Angulo is an Alien and cant even sue.

The college debate topic write now is immigration, so I've been getting informed on it bit by bit.

They definitely have visas specifically for athletes. I don't understand why Alfredo Angulo can't just live out of Mexico and get P-1 visas whenever he wants to fight in the US. That would stop the US government from cracking down on HBO for televising his fights in the US.

I'm a bit unclear why this is considered such a major roadblock to be honest.

Once you are deported and you again illegally come into USA you are barred for life. You can apply for a waiver after 10 years. other then that there is absolutely nothing anyone can do for Angulo.
