right behind the ear is a legal shot. back of the head/neck is not.

Berto is NOT a coward. He's been trying to get fights with Cotto, Judah and Mosley since like 2008. He was in line to face Mosley in Jan 2009, but Shane chose Margo instead because he saw him as an easier fight. He also wanted to fight Shane in late 2009, but he was too busy chasing Pacquiao and Floyd. I don't buy that crap about him being scared of Mike Jones. Why would he want to fight Shane and Cotto, but be scared of Mike Jones, an unproven fighter who struggled against Henry Bruseles? He probably just sees it as a big risk, no reward situation.

With that being said, Berto is still a f**king idiot. It could have been him in the ring with Shane last Saturday, but he blew his biggest opportunity by asking for too much money. The guy isn't even an elite WW and he's asking Shane for 50-50. That was ridiculous. He needs to realize that the WW division is dead, and he needs to take what's available. So right now Mike Jones seems like a logical choice.
