aggression is one thing but when I asked Mora about ring generalship someone else in the media agreed with me that it's probably the least used method of scoring a fight nowadays. Mora had the better ring generalship yet because Mosley was the agressor, and Mora's style left ALOT to be desired, people gave rounds to Shane.

understandable but the thoughts of either being robbed are far fetched. If anything the fans were robbed of saying this was a great card. You had three really sweet KOs and then this

Agreed with the whole post man. Esp. the bold. Fans lose.. Mora looked a bit timid to engage at times, but commanded the ring for the most part/Shane couldn't catch'em.

I dislike mora and like mosley. The fight was boring. You can say noone deserved to win, but then again it was called a draw so you cant argue. But as much as i hate to admit it, Sergio Mora clearly won the fight. Until the compu-box stats came out noone had an argument.

          yep

boxing isn't solely about bludgeoning someone until they are a bloody mess. Mora controlled most of the fight, albeit in ugly fashion, but style points are not counted

that's why I try not to use them because it essentially becomes a 4th judge and it's nothing more than a human counting punches. There is a lot of room for error

I couldnt score any round for Mora because he was never doing anything I consider boxing. I woulda rather watched BHOP fight John Ruiz this past Saturday. As boxing fans we can't legitimize what Mora did Saturday thats was the most god awful thing Ive ever witnesses and Jones-Hopkins is still fresh in my mind..

A guy using lateral movement the whole fight doesn't mean he's controlling it. It means he's using lateral movement.

That's what I'm talking about. So many people rewarding Mora for that performance. Shit like that just hurts boxing so bad, yet you have fools that are so passionate about Mora winning that fight. Just hard to understand.

Regardless of this, I thought Mora beat Mosley. I did not see all those punches Mosley landed that the punch stats say he did. What I saw was a frustrated, confused Mosley swinging wildly and then doing pitty patty punches on the inside. I saw Mora dictating the pace for the majority of the fight landing cleaner shots from the outside AND the inside. I dont know how many times Mora hit Mosley with uppercuts and to me, he was definitely winning the inside game. Mosley came on in the last 4 rounds but, in my opinion, wasn't enough to win the fight.

115-113 Mora is what I had.

I only gave the last 4 roundz 2 mosley

8 rounds to 4 Segio Mora!

                    & I EFFING LOVEEEEEEEE azucar mosley! :'(

How many times have you guys watched this fight?

I only watched it once, live, with the commentary from the international broadcast, so I was probably swayed by Bontempo and Fischer's commentary since I thought Mora won, but I can't inflict self-torture on myself by watching it again (with the sound off) to see who really won.
