WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is very surprised that his championship counterparts, Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander, have yet to finalize a deal for their scheduled fight on January 29. Last week, Khan and his mandatory challenger Marcos Maidana reached an agreement to fight on December 4 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Bradley is the only proven 140lb fighter. And he hasn't needed former featherweights and feather fisted fighters to get to where he's at.

I find it hilarious that Amir Khan of all people has said this. I'm going to be laughing all day thinking of this one!

The kid needs someone around him to be honest to him, not just ass kissing yes men and promoters that see him as a cash cow - he would be much more likeable if he was more humble.

bradley i dont think is a naieve as Alexander and Khan...he's pushing for a better deal i think. im guessing alexander got shafted by Don King and Bradley will hopefully sign when he gets the terms he likes....thats the hope

i dont think i ever wanted to see a fighter get knocked out as badly as i do khan. i used to think this kid was just delerious but hes got to be smoking crack or some **** to lose touch with reality this ****ing bad.

he really is believing in his hypemen that follow him around all the time, he needs to get taken back down to earth. hes the #1 biggest cherry picker in the sport. they gave him a line up of bums to beat, first time he fought a average fighter (not even good just average) he got stretched in a few seconds.

so now hes taken on a nice mix of washed up little men and featherfisted oponents ever since and somehow got his way promoted to a world title. and he starts saying the ppl who fought there way to the top are ducking the best?

bradley fought kendall holt, nate campbell, lamont peterson, junior witter and edner cherry! i struggle to imagine khan beating a single one of them.

khan fought the p4p weakest puncher in boxing in malignaggi, a washed up barrera and kotelnik.

I agree with the bold part. Amir's resume isnt that far behind of Bradley. Just because Bradley has beaten more Americans people think that he has fought better opposition.

Back on topic: Bradley-Alexander will happen but I don't want to see the rematch of that fight. The business at 140 should be settled in the first half of 2011. The winner of Khan-Maidana vs the winner of Bradley-Alexander.

Junior Witter... was a good win eventhough Witter didn't win **** afterwards. Might indicate that he was done. Many say Kotelnik beat Witter. The same guy Amir dominated.
