Hatton beat Vince Phillips easily (who beat Kostya Tszyu), Hatton beat the world-class Ben Tackie more convincingly than Kostya Tszyu and Sharmba Mitchell did, Hatton has beaten Ray Oliveira easily (who beat Vince Phillips and Vivian Harris), and now he's beaten the long-reigning 140 king Kostya Tszyu (future Hall of Famer). Great resume so far, and the guy hasn't even been rocked. Hatton has been dropped just once in his long career after getting caught cold in the opening 30 seconds of the first round, and do you know what he did? He got straight back up and gave his opponent a beat-down.

You just name bunch of old washed up fighters that he's beaten. Only Phillips was a good fighter in his prime. Even Phillips was not great. Did you just call Ben Tackie a world class fighter. Tackie is so easy to beat, the guy can't fight, the only thing he has is a chin & that's about it.

It an intresting point you make because usually the disparagers pick Phillips out as being the shot fighter...

No doubt, Hatton ****s harder than Mayweather. Hatton has always faced fighters with really good chins, the type would never get KO'd. I think Warren has chosen them to go enough rounds so the fans get their moneys worth.

I just remember Smith, he didnt have a great chin and got butchered because of it.

Gatti looked shot, he made Mayweathers punches look harder than they are, So did a weight drained Corrales.

Great point - you can add Sucra to that list, renowned for it and he still stopped him in the end.

But it's the dominance of Hatton, literally 38 fights of dominance before Tszyu, and then the way he bullied such a menacing figure like Tszyu so ruthlessly.

Don't expect Hatton to give Mayweather any respect.. he went to the world championships at 18 years old and beat a Cuban in the final, showing him no respect at all even though he was Cuban, then he turned pro a week later.

Same kind of KO ratio between PBF & Hat. Also PBF had fought much bigger names & still have the same KO ratio. The only big name Hat fought was Tszyu.

Hatton has had 29 KO's out of 39 fights, you would also have to say Smith was a KO even though the records dont show that, he was down and out when his dad came in and attacked the ref.

So I'd say thats 30 out of 39 compared to Floyd's 23 out of 34.

Hatton is 76% compared to Floyd's 67% stoppage ratio.

Like you said though, the problem has gone, it was just on the bone so it cut badly.

tackie is as good as anyone cotto has faced.

in fact ndou and tackie are very similar top ten gate keepers.
