Bradley is too tough and scrappy for anyone at 140lbs to beat easily. What does Ortiz do when 4 or 5 rounds go by and Bradley is still bringing the fight to him and landing? Ortiz looked good against Harris and has the skills to compete with anyone at jrww but lets not get crazy over a win that he was supposed to get.

Just heard from Team Ortiz that he's already training for his next fight tomorrow so he's definately gonna be on the undercard for Khan vs Maidana...I'm putting my money on his next fight to be against Bradley which is a cheaper fight than trying to negociate with don king for a fight with alexander or it will be with Joan Guzman which is a gbp fighter that will keep money inhouse and would move Ortiz a rank higher than Maidana if he wins...

I don't think Ortiz has enough saved up to make the trip.

if you're thinking it'll be bradley, im putting money on you being wrong. there's a reason why he'd be on the undercard and that's to line up a rematch with maidana or a future fight with khan. no reason to jeopardize that shot with a fight against bradley or the least deserving fighter in the sport, joan guzman.
look, i know ur a fan of victor as am i and i know ud like to see him in against the best, but i'd be banking on a lesser name being ortiz' opponent on that night.
besides, a bradley/ortiz fight would be main event material. that fight would deserve its own card.

Their goal this year is to make Ortiz a world champ and Bradley seems to be a perfect choice...if Ortiz passes through Bradley and if Khan gets through Maidana I guarantee you they will try to build up to Ortiz vs Khan by having them prime fight name opponents like Judah, Guzman, Alexander, Koltelnik, Matthysee, Cayo, Katsidis, etc... Until that star potential builds

i dont think tim bradley is anything special either...hes talented but hes not great beating edner cherry a lamont peterson who was just lunging in without a gameplan nate cambell and luis carlos abregu is no reason to call bradley a superstar...he thinks he deserves to be in the ring with pacquiao but hasnt beaten any one near that level of figher.....he can be countered like crazy and i dont see him as anything but a fighter with fast hands....i think ortiz puts him to sleep

ive been saying this for a while. well not exactly this. i dont think he would destroy him easily but id put my money on vic 2 beat bradley. styles make fights and just because maidana folded him doesnt mean bradley would do the same.

I would buy that card in a minute. I still don't have my mind made up on who wins in Khan vs. Maidana, I keep going back and forth.

As for Ortiz vs. Bradley... Just as tough. Ortiz is getting his confidence back and seems to be rounding out his boxing a little more, but his past 2 opponents were a little on the downside so I'm not sure if it was that or he just improved that much. Can't really bash Bradley for his last fight because he moved up, but I'm not sure he has the power to KO Ortiz. He would have to decision him IMO.

Either way... When it gets made, I'll be watching.
