Randy Couture is a great guy. First let me start by saying, im by no means an MMA fan, i mean ive watched it a couple of times when ive been on the settee channel surfing, what is, sometimes i will check to see if there is any Boxing on ESPN classic, and there have been times when MMA has been, so instead of turning the channel over, ive left it on, its not a bad sport, infact think I think it can co-exist with Boxing, matter of fact I dont get why there so much hostility from Boxing fans toward it, cause as far as im concerned, i feel very self assured that Boxing will never die, that MMA will never surpass Boxing, so i dont understand the animosity, anyway, back to my point, since the Toney fight was announced i started to watch video interviews about/of Couture, and i got to realize something, he is a very classy guy, he represents the sport of MMA really well, i mean after he beat Toney, he was gracious enough to say that he knows Toney would knock him out if they fought in a Boxing ring, he also did not rise to any of Toney's smack talk and just seems like allround good guy.

Couture has always been that way which is why he doesn't have many haters. He was the first guy to acknowledge the fact that his win over Toney has nothing to do with boxing being inferior, unlike many clueless MMA fans and even some fighters.
Couture is one of the most highly respected fighters in MMA.Comment
