That's the thing. All the big guys Clottey fought in the ring and made
it a close, debatable fight makes me wonder if he ever really wanted to
beat Manny? He had the size and skill but not the heart. Very odd
that a fight of that magnitude wih his career on the line that he would
just go easy like that. that's the another thing that makes me not want
to get totally into this fight because it could be another disappointing
su****ious event.
Shot fighters always look impressive physically before their last fights. Leonard looked like a body builder on his last fight and said He was in the best condition of his life.
It doesn't change a thing, Once you are done, you are done.
I wouldn't be surprise if marg. Beat manny. He has the style to do it. Manny doesn't like pressure bcuz it force's him to fight backward which we all kno manny can't do. I kno manny has done well but I think this was a bad choice for him.
Someone needs to remember them that Margarito is not allowed to spar in Cali
get a clue
he has a license therefore he is allowed to spar
"Section 18643(a) of California's Business and Professions code says:
"No professional boxer shall spar for training purposes with any
person not licensed as a professional boxer or who does not have a
sparring permit. The commission may authorize a professional boxer to
spar with someone not licensed as a professional boxer or who does not
have a sparring permit, under special circumstances subject to a
commission representative being present. No person licensed under
this chapter shall conduct, hold, or permit unlicensed persons to spar
unless commission authorization is granted."
In August 2010, the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration
licensed Antonio Margarito as a professional boxer. Therefore,
pursuant to section 18643, other boxers may spar against Margarito
without the need for a separate sparring permit and without the need
for a commission representative being present. In turn, also pursuant
to section 18643, Margarito is free to spar against any boxer who is
"licensed as a professional boxer" or who has a sparring permit."
