Will Mosley be the scarificial Lamb?

I've been reading how my Fav all time fighter Suga Shane Mosley looked old and shot and how he needs to retire.
At the same time Ive been reading what a beast Alvarez AKA Canelo is going to be.
I was thinking... do you think GBP is willing to put on a fight between Alvarez and Mosley at 154? Think about it. Mosley is past prime and Canelo is young and hungry. Mosley isnt a threat anymore but is he dangerous enough to beat Canelo? Do you think Shane will allow himself to be the lamb and put himself in there with a young buck like Alvarez?
Is Shane too much even at his age for a very green Alvarez?
We all know that Shane has never really fared well at 154.
    Your thoughts?????

I would just rather see Canelo's career to mature. He needs to fight more good but not great opposition for at least 2 more years. Then let him face a good fighter with no power. Then the real tests shall begin.

Shane has just been through a divorce so I guarantee that he'll fight again. If he can get Alvarez he'll take it for sure. He needs every penny.

          I'd favor Shane over Alvarez

I just read on another thread that Canelo weighed 150 or 151. I thought he fought at 154?

If so he is a big fooken WW

Alvarez is taller and heavier than Shane...and has a great jab with a reach advantage. I would think Saul doesn't have the footwork he needs yet, but that Mora fight shows me Shane would very likely lose to even this version of Alvarez @ 154.

He's just never been very good at 154, against taller guys with a good jab. Even now, he's not good against MORA.

I'd bet good money that Alvarez beats Shane.
