I See A Lot Of Cotto In Canelo

They're both similar in stature. They're both great with both hands. Both GREAT body punchers and both have the same calm, collective, demeanor in the ring even in the face of adversity. Canelo is still young so we have yet to see him in trouble like Cotto has been in his career so I'm really anxious to see how he handles a situation like Cotto/Marg.

So Canelo is two inches taller than Cotto... reminds me of Mayweather calling Pac a midget.

I see a lot of Mexican boxing in the younger Cotto. So I think what you are seeing in Canelo is Mexican style boxing, but with much more talent. Yeah I guess I somewhat agree with the TS.

He is very much like Cotto, I agree. He has a calmness about him and is economic with his punches; wastes very, very few.

Cotto is not great with both hands, he foten neglects using his right hand. If he would've thrown a right hand counter to Clottey, instead of counter left hooks, Joshua would've stopped throwing 3,4,5 left uppercuts in a row on him.

Saul looks a lot like Montiel, a lot.

I like that one. Short crisp compact with a prone to being hit in exchanges. Also Cotto is a front foot fighter more than Canelo

Cotto's right isn't bad..it's just not as good as it could be since his car accident..and multiple surgeries..but I DEFINITELY see Canelo and Cotto very similar..that's why I've loved his style since the first time I saw him fight a few years back..

Yeah I noticed the chininess too to make for exciting fights, has Cotto written all over him.
