What is your opinion of Derek Chisora?

How much potential does Derek Chisora have?

He seems well-rounded to me. He's not overly flashy, but he appears to have some skills, a good chin, decent handspeed, explosiveness, some power.

I see he's moved up to BoxRec #13 heavyweight, and I'm sure he'll be ranked by one or more sanctioning organizations when they update their rankins.

Who should he fight next? I'd like to see him in a European title fight with Dimitrenko.

He is entertaining IMO I honestly think in a year he could beat haye.. He is all wrong for haye. Keeps coming good punch and chin etc I wonder if Hayes stamina can hold out

to small to trouble wlad.. Maybe he can trouble vit in a year or two as I believe he is slowing down

I loved watching this guy fight, I hadnt seen only heard his name before...hes really an entertaining heavyweight. Which we all know is hard to come by these days, Im not sure if he has what it takes to get on top but he has what it takes to get on HBO and make for some action packed heavyweight wars, maybe him an Arreola could mix it up in the future. Guy has a great work rate, solid chin and from what I could tell has pretty good stamina.

          Del's my fav British heavy.

Tyson Fury's career is fun to follow, but I'd like to see Chisora wake him up to reality. It'd be a pretty big heavyweight domestic fight, with strong publicity, which would do Chisora's UK profile no harm at all. Even a hard defeat might actually do Fury some good if he's ever to get anywhere.

A few more fights and I'd give him a decent chance at beating Haye. Chisora is pretty good, alot better than Audley Harrison anyway. I'd like to see him fight Valuev and I think he would beat Valuev alot better than Haye did too.

Chisora looks to have made big improvements in his last fight, i thought his upper body movement was excellent at times and there was a round in the fight where he was up on his feet trying to dance around like Holmes lol, he needs to lose some weight though and he doesn’t seem to be the biggest puncher and also we don’t know if he has a good chin or not. I think he has some potential and it would be nice to have another good heavyweight out there but its always difficult to tell where fighters at this stage of there career will end up until they have fought better fighters. Go Del Boy.

That fight with the Ton of Sex i mean Sexton was great... Back and forward and great KO in the end! But not on the top level... Too many flaws and he takes too long to do the job... Against one of the K bros he wouldn't see the 12th round... Not big enough.
