Mosely Mora - A Fixed Fight

“I thought I won the fight,” said Mora, who wants a rematch with Mosley. “I had a lot of respect for Shane and I didn’t want to hurt him. I didn’t want to fight as hard. I should have listened to my corner, but I was hard-headed. He threw good punches and he is a smart fighter.”

That quote by The Latin Snake really says it all. This was a glorified sparring session intended to keep money flowing. First of all L Snake, you can't urt Mosley. You don't punch hard enough to hurt my baby sister. So drop that idiotic train of thought. The knowledgeable boxing public doesn't buy it.

Golden Boy is trying to find a way to make sure Shane is comfortable in retiirement. I imaging you will see him get a win over a 154 lb gate keeper and then make big money in a Cotto rematch before going off into retirement.

Something was up just like Floyd vs Mosley fight!

Mosley magicly didnt throw 1 punch for 10 rounds against Mayweather.

Mora didnt want to throw shots at Shane cuz "Shane is his idol",Shane probably won 11 rounds at least and has no problem with draw.

FLOYD SR: "Why you think that is,I think you know"

I must admit, it did always seem like a strange fight to take based on the fact you looked poor in your last fight and would of been looking to reestablish your mojo, Mora is the last opponent you would of picked, let alone look good against, although i guess you could argue that if the result is not in jeopardy, use it to stay busy, make some easy money.

Another thing, i know Mora has a lot of heart, grit, i saw that in both Forrest fights, which makes me question why he fought the way he did.

This is no surprise to me. GBP is famous for the art of the fix. When Sturm beat Oscar they had the judges fixed to salvage the big pay day of the Oscar/Hopkins bout. By the way Oscar/Hopkins was also fixed. Don't tell me a deal wasn't in place for Hopkins to join GBP before that fight. Deals like that take months and months of back and forth.

Same with the Oscar/Floyd glorified sparring match that set boxing back 2 years in the fringe fan's eyes.

Oscar is always at the forefront of that stuff so it would not surprise me, look at this........

For all the people calling his a fix.

              I have a question.

Why would there be a fix? With a good win, Mosley could have gotten a fight with Pac, and made GBP tons of money. And Why would they want Mora to win? Is he going towards stardom?

A good win over Sergio Mora would have been defining enough for Mosely to get a Manny Pac fight?!?!?! What are you smokin? We are talking about the freakin Latin Snake here not Sugar Ray Leonard.

Shane was never in consideration for a Pac fight. If the other side of that card does not sell(Shane Mosely) then Arum will just Pac in with another Top Rank fighter if nothing else is available(Clottey).

people are in denial, they think its 2001 and Mosley is undefeated. I can't argue this **** anymore. Some people, believe it or not, actually predicted Mora win the fight (OH MY!) off of his awkward style, the movement, the counters, the fact that Mosley has never looked good against boxers....but I'm just saying, some people that apparently don't visit this website. As political as boxing is, a fix in this case? Mosley would never agree to be beat 2 times in a row when he desperately wants another big fight.
