Mexico loves him, Staples loves him, HBO loves him and I get a sense that NSB is starting to love him. I can't pinpoint it, what is it about Canelo that gives him that star appeal?

Like his style, he isn't the quickest or most athletically gifted boxer, but he's actually a smart boxer. He controls distance, defense is pretty good, he feints a lot and he's good with both hands, nice kid too. What's not to like? -
He's a Mexican, but he's white, so he has support from both those bases.

He's got great skill and many fights already
