IMO, Mayweather's hands were not ready, but you won't hear that coming out of his mouth.
I believe his fragile hands require time to heal in between fights. That's why He retire before and that's why you won't see him fighting more than once a year.

Didn't steward say he was afraid of mosley too? When steward sticks to discussing boxers in the ring he is brilliant and usually on point. He has his axe to grind when it comes to floyd so I expect him to reach this conclusion.
