He came out pretty poised, but aggressive against Harris. He looked completely different than his last 3 fights. He seemed confident and sure of himself willing to take risks. I know Harris wasn't the fighter he was touted as in the past, but the power is still there.
So What Did We Think Of Ortiz's Demeaner/Gameplan Against Harris?

He fought very cautiously, yet aggresively. I personally liked how he looked, but if you want to talk about a Maidana rematch I think Maidana still ****s him. Ortiz got caught a couple of times trying to go for the KO like he did in the Maidana fight after he hurt Maidana but his Harris didn't have the power of a Maidana.
I like that he stays more composed instead of getting overly aggresive and sloppy. -

ortiz puts on a clinic if he ever faces maidana again...and marcos knows that.Comment

I've always held Ortiz in high regard. His footwork and foot speed was great, he took calculated risks, and dominated.
If he could have a good jab and better counterpunching skills, offensively, he'd be complete and the best in the game.Comment

and the aggressiveness came from the power he was putting behind his punches. He wasn't just trying to land and get out. Rather he was trying to hurt Harris badly with his combos while being methodical about the whole situation.Comment

and ortiz didnt even really throw combos vs harris. they were well set up single shots that landed on a chinny fighter.Comment

Victor Ortiz was impressive, he wasted no time in destroying Harris.
I think he has a very good future. People make too much of his one setback against the very tough Maidana - it was much less embarrassing than Amir Khan's KO loss.Comment

If he took him to a decision even if winning every round it would have badly hurt Ortiz's standing.
He had that stumble with Maidana but is world class and a danger to anyone at 140.Comment
