It's ****in Ray Robinson. Nobody will ever achieve that **** again. End of ****in discussion. Honestly it's kind of an insult to Robinson to compare someone like Floyd to him.

Please explain that to the *****s, they seem to think undefeated records are what hold weight in today's generation of boxing fans...

ray robinson is a good choice....i think Ali can be considered the greatest
because he was an excellent heavyweight who moved with the flow, grace and speed of a smaller man...especially when he bounced on his toes and boxed around his opponents so flawlessly and effortlessly....

Ali put strategy into play when facing his opponents mentally and physically in and outside of the ring...he was a showman and a great self promoter who was an excellent and brilliant trash talker...he really transcended the boxing game...where guys after him like roy jones fought with their guards down/left arm...and the like...really every fighter African American male boxer after Ali in my opinion who has gone on to become champion has taken cues from him
even Jason Litzau use to try to mimmick him by mimmicking Roy Jones who got his style from Ali...

As for Floyd, he in my opinion is the most gifted technical boxer of all time when it comes to the sweet science of "hit not get hit"...like Ali though he won't be appreciated until much later on in life when he changes his public perception that people have of him...but when it comes to breaking a fighter down mentally in and outside of the ring and dominating his opponents that were supposedly his biggest threats is awesome in my opionion...

Even Bob Arum himself had this to say about Floyd:

"BOB ARUM, CHAIRMAN, TOP RANK: I want to welcome you to this conference call. It’s really a pleasure as we get down to crunch time. We have the best fighter in the world, “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, on this call. Floyd, I know, can’t wait for April 8th to show everybody once again how truly talented he is. In my opinion, yesterday [March 29, 1966 - Ali v. Chuvalo] was my 40th year in boxing and “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, next to the early Muhammad Ali, is the best fighter that I’ve ever seen..

So I turn this over to the best pound-for-pound best fighter in the world, “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather."

type "east side" as one word to follow the link above...

Also, Floyd has this uncanny gift of being able to feel when his opponent is about to hit him while in the midst of a fight in the ring...u can spin this statement if you like but it is just my opinion on the matter...Floyd has a gift of being able to counter his opponents every move...you really see his face busted up in a fight...

So it's all an opinion so really I feel that being emotional about someone's opinion isn't the way to go...have a good one....and same for the poster in post number 6...

              Peace!!
