look, vitali was a younger fighter who was in his prime. lewis must have only had 2 weeks to prepare for vitali as well? has to be the same for both

Because he wasn't, Lewis gave Vitaly his best shots and Vitaly was still standing, had it not been for the cut, Vitaly would have won. Vitaly never really lost and only has losses through injuries and was never KD, has the highest KO% of any HW in history. Lewis was layed out twice, counted out, Vitaly is the better fighter.

vitaly is a classy guy and what he actually said was that he spoke with lewis and his mom for an hour, not stating what they discussed, and was called by lewis the next day to hear there would be no rematch. vitaly thought it was his mom's decision

this is vitali's opinion, his mom never said he should run from vitali. vitali actually states he felt it wasnt lewis his own opinion so claiming lewis ran is neither confirmed by lewis nor vitali

What, you can't put 2 and 2 together? He had his MOM meet Vitaly and then he retired afterwards. It doesn't have to be explicitly stated, we know that Lewis asked him to meet him and his mom, his mom looked into Vitaly's eyes for a long time, and Lewis retired afterwards. We know what she told him "Please don't fight that scary Ukrainian, he'll knock you TFO" and Lewis listened to his mama.
