    third thread on this...

    yes and no.

Floyd thoroughly whooped Shane and withstood Shane's hardest punches.

But Shane captured lightning in a bottle against Margarito, and he's been looking terribly shot ever since the Mayorga fight.

Was Shane shot already? yes...he got gassed in this fight pretty early. But did Floyd take Shane's best shot right to the jaw? yes he did. he ate it and dominated him pretty badly.

I didn't vote because neither of your options reflect my opinion. It didn't hurt the win because Mosley was simply not going to look good against a guy who fights like Mora at 154. However, I never thought the Mosley win for Floyd was ever incredible.

Let's just leave it as it was: a dominating win over the guy considered the best welterweight in the world. We all know Mosley is pretty much shot, but it's still a good win because Floyd faced adversity and responded how a fighter should. The Mora fight had no bearing whatsoever on it.

        I agree with this really..

****** matchmaking by Golden boy imo.. Mosley was never gonna look good vs a guy like Mora win or lose (he won tight imo). I also thought Floyds win over Mosley was a good win.. incredible is a bit to far.. i'd rank it up with Pacs win over Cotto.. after all Mosley was the top guy at WW when Floyd beat him can't take that away
