Danny Williams Looked Like Crap At The Weigh In.

Danny Williams came in at 270 lbs. at the weigh in. One of the heavist weights if not the heaviest for a Heavyweight Title fight. He looked very thick around the middle. When a fighter comes in this heavy this often times means he is not prepared physically and more than likely will gas out during the fight. I see Vitali KOing Danny in the middle rounds, but of course I could be wrong because the outcome of a fight is often times unpredictable(as seen with Tyson blowing out his knee against Williams). So do you think Danny Williams stands a chance agaist Vitali coming in with a physique that looks like he's been training on Twinkies and KFC rather than his boxing skills.

P.S. - I am NOT a fan of either of these guys so the comments I have made is based on a neutral observation. I am neutral during the fight as well, and really dont care who wins it.

Williams has never looked good or slightly ripped, he just looks big but not fat to me, i think he's come in heavy cos thats his round - about weight, last time he came in at 266 (i think), he obviously feels more confidant heavier, prob cos he's strong as ****, and vitali looks so different now he's not geared up anymore, ah to be a natural athlete!!

I'm really starting to get my doubts about this place with all the unnecessarily anti-Danny threads creeping up. If we ARE going to have such threads, can they at least be informed, rather than racist/spurious claims that he's said negative remarks/he's a bum but I've never seen him fight/he's fat.

WHY just look at a fighter's weight and make that abitary judgement? The photos I saw showed clear abs definition on Danny. HOW can you possibly compare his weight with another heavyweight's? If it was a smaller heavyweight, fair enough, but Danny's a big guy. You may not have noticed this, but Danny does actually have muscles. Jesus!

Okay he dont look ripped he looks real strong, allthough if you check the tale of the tape you will se that Vit has bigger muscles, and he is both a lot taller and weighs 20lbs less.

Vit seems a lot better trained.

I agree with you he looked more prepared and focused. I am not even a fan and I say this.

The fact that Danny Williams has had Jim McDonnald training him most likely means Danny is in shape. I can't understand where all this fat talk is coming from the guy looks very strong. Do you need to look cut or ripped for boxing? No you dont this isn't a body building contest. Lets also remember that George Foreman descovered his stamina not at 220lbs but between 250-265lbs. This fight is going to be explosive I think look for Williams to jump straight on Vitali. After watching Vitali's reactions to Sanders mini attacks I'd say that's the best bet. Over whelm him. Go Danny go.
